  I ordered a set of these for a bass (along with some matching screws). These are handy for mounting a neck that doesn't have a square heel, or that would look funny with a standard rectangular neck plate. My only complaint with these is that they aren't exactly 5/8" diameter. Mine were closer to 9/16", so I'd recommend measuring before drilling holes. Functionally, they are great, and the finish (black in my case) looks good.
