Body Neck Combo - Strat

Our body & neck combos feature Standard Fender Stratocaster styling, with solid, non-laminated naturally air-dried Northern Ash for the body, and your choice of Black Walnut or American Cherry for the neck.  Each combo delivers a body, a neck, and a fretboard unassembled and ready for you to customize and finish as you want. 

Bodies feature an arm and body contour, tight-fitting neck pocket, front and rear cavities machined, and are routed to accommodate multiple pickup combinations (3 singlecoils, 2 hums & 1 single, etc).  Necks feature 25 1/2" scale length, truss rod pocket routed for our Dual-Action Truss Rod (not included in the combo), planed headstock pre-drilled for a 6-in-line tuner pattern, and large 'paddle-type' headstock for you to cut out your own headstock design 

Both bodies and necks are bare wood, not sealed (allows you to stain the wood if desired), and rough sanded.  The pieces will need a final sanding and the finishing of your choice. 

Combo includes wood only, and you can find most everything else you will need to create a complete guitar on our site sold separately.  All wood parts made in the USA in our woodshop. Body approx. 5.3lb, neck approx 1lb weight.

Explanation of your options:

Bridge style:

Different bridges require different cavities and patterns machined into the body. If you want a hardtail bridge, select 'hardtail' from the drop-down menu. Examples of this type of bridge would be our BN005 Old School Hardtail Bridge. If you plan on installing a screw-type tremolo, such as our BS113 Vintage Guitar Tremolo, select the 'vintage screw tremolo' option. If you plan on installing a post-type tremolo, such as our BS108 Floating Roller Tremolo, select 'modern post tremolo' from the drop-down menu.

Pre-Drilled Body:

If you select the 'pre-drilled body' option, we will drill all holes for the bridge noted above, standard strat pickguard, strat jack, strap buttons, and a neck plate sized for our HN001 Fender-sized 2X2.5 Neck Joint Plate. If you need a custom bridge or neck plate drilled, you can specify in the comment section below.  If you choose to use your own bridge, but select this option, we will not pre-drill for the bridge.

Neck Wood:

You have your choice of Black Walnut or American Cherry for your neck wood.

Fingerboard Choice:

Woods available are: Indian Rosewood, Bloodwood, or Cocobolo.

Fingerboard Radius:

If you choose, select your preferred radius, and we will pre-radius the fretboard for you.

Pre-Slotted Fretboard:

We will pre-slot your fretboard for a 25 1/2" scale length if you choose this option.

Custom Requirements:
